Dawn Ruckert is the creative director of Dayanisma, an ATS® collaborative group that was created in 2011 and focuses on ATS® group improvisation.
Dayanisma, a Turkish word meaning unity, describes the American Tribal Style® outlook. ATS® dancers are unified in their dance, in their sisterhood, and in their love of ATS®. Because dancers share a common vocabulary, they can dance anywhere in the world with sister dancers that all know the same ATS® language. Dayanisma members Dawn, Lisa, Natalie, Patti, and Ming are dedicated to creating captivating and awe-inspiring group improvisation.

Our Mission Statement "through our performances we will convey our joy and love of dance in a way that is felt as well as seen" summarizes the way we approach all of our performances. Whether we are combining Classic and Modern ATS®, incorporating our ATS® Dialect steps, or dancing with our signature basket improv, Dayanisma delights audiences all over the country.
